| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Tom & All........Have you considered buying disks of songs that have been re-recorded by differant artist that my be better suited to your voice ( other than the original artist ) ?..........ie.....Josh Groban is a outstanding artist who has a 'Tenor' range ( singing voice ) with a very modern feel to his voice , he sings many types of well known songs including songs from such artists as ... Paul Simon , Micheal Jackson , to name a couple of singers and the songs are arranged in key for him ( a tenor ) , thus when the karaoke disc is produce , it is in the same key for that artist........ so if you like a song from a artist who is NOT the original artist and you think the key is better suited to your vocal range , it may be better to purchase the discs yourself , that way you are 100 percent sure you have those songs at any karaoke show you may go to........i hope this helps a little.....James.
