Caught the courtesy bus to the Maryong Hotel and joined in as well. I was impressed with the fact that the host did not let the slight equipment failure faze him, commendable I thought. Not only that, though the host acted on positive feedback from the audience to help the difficulty. i believe he helped solve the problem by adding reverb.
I appreciated the Karaoke DVD I won and , I appreciated the friendliness of the folk. I noted the long term prize promotion too which is a great idea esp. for the regulars. I felt apologetic to the host, ( I realised only later), as I almost dragged all the male singers out to help some poor bloke who got stuck on a 'hard to see' water mains pipe.
I put the change of a key 'thingo',to use by singing Elvis's version of Danny Boy, I dont know if the pub appreciated it but I did, my ol' time fave.
