| From the Where2sing.com forum: Tom : Seriously....It would not matter where you held the Mic in this regard.....From where I stand from behind my console and with the singers to the left of me in subdued venue lighting....behind them .....a bank of coloured Par Cans and whatever other lights I use on the night........I am in a perfect position to see just how much spray comes out of the singers mouth with every syllable.... It wouldnt matter if the Mic were 2inches or 6 inches from the mouth the Mic would still cop the bulk of it.
What does irk me is when a singer comes up and says something like 'I dont know how I`ll go tonight I`ve got laryangitis/bronchitis./ cold/flu/herpes'..or whatever..come on guys if your sick either stay home or do NOT sing!!
