Kev... I can't immediately see anything on the Cavs site about licensing, but the price they charge per track would suggest they are licenced.

Of course, they could be licenced in a far cheaper country than Australia, but that's just the stupidity of having different licencing prices in different countries. People like Capital Karaoke who sell in Australia are forced to licence in Australia at APRA prices, but someone like CAVS with the ability to base their website (and therefore operation) anywhere would be mad to licence through Australia and an organisation like APRA.

APRA is a business: From their own website 'Since we were established in 1926, the APRA/AMCOS integrated business has grown to now collect more than $146 million annually and to distribute more than $127 million a year.' So their business pockets nearly $20 million a year. I just wish they'd act like a business, and reply to emails in a timely and competent manner.
