I don't know why there are two people listed to work at Hippos, I am just reading the roster that George sent me. I haven't spoken to Reanna since last Sunday so I don't know if she is working there by herself. I will see her tonight out at Windsor so I will ask her if she is working on her own. There was talk of it. As I said to Music Addict, Joe is 'rostered' to work there with Reanna, whether that actually happens or not is another matter. Hope that clears things up a bit. I haven't been to Hippos, so I don't know what the place is like.
Catman, thanks for your kind words re Ben, it is hard to accept, but we did have to have him put to sleep in the end, he was suffering. I miss his sunny nature. Tell me, was the format for Rooty Hill about 20 minutes of karaoke and then a dance bracket and then back to karaoke - going on that way all through the night? The reason I ask is that is what Sando used to do at Penrith and I was wondering if he had changed his style any?? I can't see where it would take 5 people to run a karaoke show though, all those people have to be paid, so I wonder what Sando's going rate is with the Club?? What I can't understand (and this is going back a bit) is why Foster and Joan's show got put out of Rooty Hill when it was such a good show!! Mick and I used to go there on a Wednesday night on a fairly regular basis and FJ's Karaoke used to attract around 30 to 40 singers (if not more) every week!! I am glad that nothing was said to Lyndon to offend him, he gets upset easily and it often takes a while for him to calm down. He just goes along to karaoke (and I believe he goes to a few shows too) sings his songs, usually someone will buy him a beer and has a good time. I've given him a lift home a few times and he is always very thankful for that and always very polite to people.
Better get my nose back to the grindstone, I haven't done much work this week and I have some invitations due out on Monday.
