Called back into the regular, saw a couple of familiar faces.
I also saw a lot of interesting changes.
One was a 'short' dance break at a time when sometimes in the past things had quietened down.
Second, the music volume was changed a bit during the night, actually too loud at one stage, but the host reacted favourable immediately when it was mentioned to her.
The host was very active during the whole, 5 hour night, especially assisting the singing strugglers, like me.
More people were buying drinks, later into the night.
More people were dancing later into the night.
I asked why, and the host said....along the lines of ...hashed it out in a meeting with the management of the pub.
A regular kiwi , did a great version of Mrs Jones, and this bloke did Dragons, 'April Sun?'.
Overall, a great night out.
