From the Where2sing.com forum:

Thank you to everyone who has engaged in both forum warfare and forum lurve... and although the moment has passed for some comments, I do owe replies to a few people posting here:

My Angel Dave... the seemingly private information included in the piracy story was publicly available on the Internet (just do a 'whois' search on Where2sing.com, SinKing.com.au and KaraokeGoose.com ).

Next question - should subscriptions be able to be 'paired' - ie, husband and wife, or co-hosts, both being subscribers but paying just half each? What about parents and children, karaoke friends, and do you need to be married, or will engaged or living-together be ok? I'd welcome some thoughts on the practicalities, but it seems to me to be rather hard to administer....

Robert (A.K.A. Not a host)... regarding a marketplace for discs, I am thinking about a 'clearing house' for secondhand discs that would allow people to send them to a central location to weed out any pirated discs, then make the others available, perhaps in packs of 5 or 10 to defray some of the overnight delivery costs. There is obviously a need to combine a control over the sale of secondhand discs to replace the old W2S Classifieds section. There could be a price per disc set by the seller, payment being made to the marketplace by the purchaser and held pending receipt and checking, and then released to the seller minus a small fee for handling. Are there any people interested in selling, or buying, used discs through this method?

Gavin... what are you on about 'when my address details get published from out of the blue.' Your address details have been public ever since you entered them nearly two years ago as the Registrant details when you registered KaraokeGoose.com - so kindly get your hand off it!

Robert (A.K.A. Not a host)... back a fair time ago you submitted two feature stories. Just so the impression isn't left on the forum that you provided these 2 stories for free, perhaps I should note that W2S sent you a karaoke disc for each one ('Just Tracks' JTG155 and 'Chartbuster' CB090152).
