| From the Where2sing.com forum: Robert (A.K.A. Not a host)... when a host has sought control of their listing, I have emailed the current controller to ask wherther I may hand over control. If someone asks that a venue not be listed on W2S when it is in fact still running, they are advised that this is not possible - though I do seek to edit the gig's info in line with their reasons for not wanting it listed.

Your email was timely, because it gave us a reason to re-think the issue of how to keep this listing current... As I said in my previous email, Lyn's list was compiled with the help of a lot a people, NOT FROM HER OWN RESOURCES. It is therefore difficult to ascertain who contributed what information... I suggest for your sake that you shut up and live with a little competition... All that statement means is that we can't verify its source; it doesn't mean it came from your site, moron. That's something you'll have to prove, won't you!...'
The details of the pirates as published in the W2S story were public information. I had the same info on file.
