| From the Where2sing.com forum: Was just reading the CareAoke forum and the topic of nursing homes raised there reminded me of a karaoke related joke I share with friends.
Assuming Nursing Homes / Retirement Villages still exist in several decades, what do you think the repertoire hammered out at gatherings around the piano / in house karaoke machine would include?
I can see an aged Nanna belting out Eminem's 'Without Me' and have disturbing images of ACTUAL nanna's singing, 'Don' cha' and 'My Humps.'
What karaoke classics in 2067 do you see?
Also, does anyone else here like changing key words to songs for a laugh? My favourite karaoke 'party trick' is to substitute the word 'arms' with 'legs.'
Suddenly, songs take on a different meaning!!
Think of Creed's hit song: 'With Legs Wide Open... Under the starlight... I can take you there.... I'll show you EVERYTHING... With Legs Wide Open...'
Or John Farnham's 'Hold... Me In.... Your Legs....'

Or the classic 'Welcome To My World' by Elvis Presley... 'I'll be waiting there.... With my legs unfurled... waiting just for you.... Welcome To My World!!' ROFL
