| From the Where2sing.com forum: Jason.....When i was doing shows i always strickly started on the times that were negotiated , in other words if i was paid to start at 8 to 12 , well it would not matter to me if there was one person or even No-one there why ?----1...., i would start singing just to add ambeiance ( ? spelling ) to the room .......2.....some publicans like you to make up time at in end of the night ( do a extra half hour or so to make up for the dead start ) and i'm a clock watcher so once the 4 hours is up , if they want me to keep going well they better have a $100 note at the ready........3......its just more professional.......And as a paying customer i'm not so easy as you, as i give them only 10 or 15 mins and then i'm gone !!!
