| From the Where2sing.com forum: Rovics: yes that is a rather scary thought isnt it? Imagine if it was like that in every other sector of employment? That the powers that be didnt even have the responsibility of letting you know when you've lost your job, and just left it up to the person who pinched your job to use public medium to inform you. Prolly be grounds for legal action there, but because the karaoke industry has no union the 'right thing' is trusted to ppls ethics and scruples. Unfortunately for this industry some pple just dont possess any - great way to run a business!, but in the long run?????????????
But as you say, a lesson has been learned and I dont make the same mistake twice. Rest assured this will never happen again - at least not to me.
