| From the Where2sing.com forum: I just thought i better explain what i mean by a ' mailing list ' ( for our younger hosts who may only think of email ) , at every show you get people to write down there ...name ...address...phone No....email address ...in a BOOK , now when you go to a job interview you produce this book and make sure they ( publican & managers ) know have ( hopefully ) many hundreds of people you can personally get in contact with to promote this new show , and you make it clear that they are YOUR regular fans , But you must make sure that you get in contact with the greater many ,firstly by PHONE , anything works better than that !!! ....2nd... by MAIL.....3rd sms.....4th...email , but by PHONE you build a friendship and loyality , and the publican will keep in mind that if you go , your many hundreds may go with you.....ITS WORKS and i know afew hosts its working well for..
