Well it’s a shame that people do not have more important things to do.
Over the last few weeks accusations and attempts have been made to discredit myself and our business not only on this web site but another as well as personal emails to me.

Firstly I replied to the first email in a business like manner to receive a response calling me a blatant liar and others words not needed to be repeated here.

In regards to the first paragraph of karmas latest statement, anyone that has been reading posts by Gary str8up in Karaoke Goss, would see that the majority of posts about hosts Gary was praising Rovics Karaoke not ours but some posts were made by Gary about us. We did not and do not have an insider in Karaoke Goss, we were doing the same as everyone else was able to do and that was promote our business and enjoy general chat within that site. Just for the record Gary str8up is a personal friend and only became so after we met him at karaoke a few times. Gary was not banned from the site he asked to be removed as well as his posts, he was removed but his posts were not. At no time did I make any attempt feeble or otherwise to have Gary reinstated as he wants nothing to do with this site anymore. As for the slinging match I cannot see one response from us to the comments made by Karma Kay in any of the websites, which tells me this must be in her imagination. As far as not being heard from since, I don’t see the point in wasting time responding to someone who is not prepared to listen to reason.

2nd Paragraph; Usual tactics of threatening all and sundry with deformation action, this was actually my husband and all that was posted was the legislation as stated under the legislative acts. No threats were made.

3rd and 4th Paragraph; As for this venue, we were contacted by a referral who had been asked for us to phone the venue manager re karaoke as their long time operator was giving up this venue. We did so on Tuesday Morning as requested. The outcome was we were asked to come and meet with the General Manager and we secured the venue. We were advised that there was another operator who was filling in whilst the management made up there mind who they wanted, I was advised this operator would be told on Saturday night that they would no longer be required. I did not place the gig on our website until late Sunday morning. The venue was not listed on the national websites until Monday afternoon. As for ex friends well, we must all have them, but for the life of me I can’t think who she may be referring to.

5th Paragraph; As for the meeting with the decision maker, I can’t make comment I was not privy to this conversation. Well, as for the defamatory remarks in this paragraph I am not going to give the time of day.

6th Paragraph; This is not very professional to say the least.
I contacted the said manager and gave him the opportunity to release us from the gig to which his answer was definitely no. He asked why and I explained to him what has happened on the web sites to which he requested how to obtain a copy of Karma Kay’s post which he now has.

To summarise, All business operators no matter what line they are in should be constantly in touch with prospective clients, When we first started in the karaoke business we put together a promotional pack which gets sent to certain venues after contacting them first to see if they would like one. This said venue first received our promo pack in July 2005 well before this operator was running Karaoke. But this will also now bring the slinging about approaching venues that already have karaoke. But I ask you where would all businesses be if they stayed away from perspective clients that already had a product the same or similar to those? At this point I must emphasise we do not go out of our way to contact venues with karaoke already running unless we are sure we can do a better job.
