Indeed, the present map should allow people to pan out and see how to get to a venue - but I agree that a 'How Do I Get There?' feature would be good.
Happily, there is such a feature on the same website, and I've just asked it how to get from home in Pyrmont, Sydney to Holland Park in Brisbane...
