We are a little worried that casual users are turned off by having to pay for info. Therefore this 24 hour feature is a good idea. I often refer any queries I get by Phone to your site but warn people they may have to pay. What is the cheapest price for a one off visit???? Perhaps the listing itself should be able to be accessed by anyone but not your other features such as comments, Forums, Venue details etc.
For casual users make available ONLY the gig Night, venue name and suburb. We are also doing Trivia. Are we able to list this??????

That's interesting, because I've just answered a similar email from another host in the AskDavid forum.
There seems to be a thought that 'casual' people don't want to pay for information, or even Sign In to W2S. Actually, 'casual' people don't even go to the Internet and search for karaoke - and even if you sent them an email inviting them, chances are they wouldn't be interested. Just think of all the advertising messages you see every day, then consider how many of these make you really respond.
Marketing has long abandoned the 'shotgun' tactic as it is highly uneconomic - in favour of fargetted marketing. W2S is highly targetted - getting relevent information into the hands of the people who really do care and who will spread the word.
The W2S way of catering for both regular and occasional visitors is to offer the former Subscriptions through which they have immediate and everyday access to all the information, and offering the latter the opportunity to trade a little of their own information for access to the entire W2S database - something which does seem to work better than the previously tried method of delivering limited information to non-subscribers.
Are you going to be doing mixed Karaoke/Trivia? If so, there is a setting that you can select to show this when you list the gig. Or would you like a new website, modelled on W2S, but for Trivia?
