The 131500 site uses a feature it calls Trip Finder. You put in a departure site and an arrival site with either a 'depart after' or 'arrive before' time. It will then calculate how to get there by a combination of bus train and ferry sorted by depart after/arrive before time and then duration of travel.
What you're left with for instance would be:
Travelling from A to B (50 min)
1) Walk x metres to bus stop (7pm - 5 min)
2) Catch bus xxx (7.05pm)
3) Get off on cnr Y St and Z Rd (7.40pm - 35 min)
4) Walk x metres to venue (7.50pm - 10 min)
