Karma Karaoke Kay... welcome to the world of commercial reality - customers do not necessarily keep you as a supplier purely because you've 'done nothing wrong'; it is the things you 'do right' that keep customers, and anyway customers do have the right to pick and choose suppliers as they wish. They also have the right to deal with you as they wish (ie: not giving you prior warning that your services are no longer needed), though the way in which they deal with you may lead you to decide not to deal with them again (your perrogative). As a supplier, the only 'right' you may have to a certain customer is bound up in any agreement that the two of you may have executed. No agreement, no rights.

Any host to whom you lose a gig is going to be 'rival operator', and if you speak out publicly against other operators, you can expect to build a list of those who will see value in targetting you. If you feel wronged, then go out and target this other host's gigs if you feel that this is productive to your business.

Customers seek solutions, not problems. The supplier with the best perceived solution in the eyes of the customer will win the business. I think you do little to elevate your image by engaging in a public war with another host right in front of the market that you are seeking to attract (ie: entertainment managers and singers here).

But isn't this really 2 subjects - one being receiving no notice by the venue terminating your services, and the other being an ongoing war with the other operator? Your complaints about your relationship with the other host may be valid (I have no knowledge of this), but there seems little validity in your complaint that the other host is unentitled to seek business wherever they wish.
