You know , through all of this , I really feel the one who's done the dirty on youthe most is the manager of the venue , who gave you a gig , leaving you thinking you had it bagged , then pulling the rug from under you without notice . Are you certain 'A Host ' has stolen this gig from you , or just talkedtheir way into a gig that was up for grabs . Either way if the gig's gone it's gone . I worry for you when I see postings about hangings & the like that you're losing perspective , falling into vendetta mode , with the associated tunnel vision. Take a step back & look at the big picture . Much better for you than being the one in the picture with everyone staring at you. I dont know how many gigs you're doing now , but as sure as your microphone points at your tonsils , if you want to double , triple (or more ) your gigs & make a 'real' business out of Karaoke , you'll find yourself at the other end of the sword.......& then the real test will come.....good luck & happy tunes.......
James T .......You're right .......a person with no heart probably wont last long in the (or any) game , but a person with no business sense will last a lot less. To be successful you need to balance both....
David ...... thankfully , in a free market economy we wont be 'locked in' to one only in any business. Many people have died to give us the right to feely choose. It's his right , it's her right , my right & your right to choose WHO we want , & who'd have it any other way ?
