| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi everyone
It seems that some of the clubs/pubs have not joined in the spirit of 'Christmas in July' - CCC and the Band Club are two of them. Pity as Christmas in July can be a lot of fun. I know the Band Club did have something on - Catman you went to it didn't you? I would like to see something done in the karaoke line for it. Must keep it in mind for next year. I think it would be more likely at the Band Club than CCC. I would love to be able to get down to St. Pats tonight for their Christmas in July as I know that Joan would be putting on a good show, but unfortunately the car is just about to be loaded up with the karaoke equipment ready to go to CCC for the kids show. Now that would be a good idea to put on a Christmas in July there for the kids - they would love it. Could you imagine Mick dressed up as Santa?? The photos that I have of him with the kids last week are really good, I should call him the 'Pied Piper of CCC' the way that those kids follow him around, maybe I should buy him a flute like the original pied piper had (lol). It may not be too late, there is still one Saturday left in July, I might see what I can do, put a few suggestions forward at CCC and see what kind of reaction I get to them. I am a good organiser, hmmmm, the idea is taking shape as I wrtite this..............!!
I wasn't going to go to CCC tonight, I was going to tell Mick to go on his own that way I could have gone down to St. Pats, but seeing that Legs and A Song 2 sing look like they will be at St. Pats and not keeping me company, then I had better do the good wifely thing of keeping my husband company while he compares his kids show.
Catman, Leg, A song to sing, if you go to St. Pats tonight, have a great time and say hello to Joan for me, I haven't seen her in ages. I miss her shows too as she does put on such a good show, but what can I do?? I can't be in two places at the one time.
Catman, your new clothes end up like mine, at the back of the wardrobe!! No actually mine are in the wardrobe in the spare room!! I would have liked to have seen you at the Rock 'N' Roll night in the black skirt, it would have looked nice on you. It is just that you are not used to wearing skirts. Roll on the warmer weather so that I can get back into my skirts, I miss them!!
