I'm curious, what is your goal in finding 1st prize, as in, what hypothetical act gets the big 100%? It worries me a little in that it seems that you're looking for a Las Vegas act to take out top prize and that's something that always bothered me about Marrickville RSL...
I'd also hope that costume hanges and whether or not they're wearing a watch is weighted significantly lower than on stage presense, timber and tone and how engaging they were. I'd hate to think that someone came 3rd instead of 1st by a matter of a few points just because they wore the same clothes and didn't have a ribbon in their hair. Sometimes these things can be come down to one or two points. The comp I judged, 1st, 2nd and 3rd all got the same number of points. I'm wondering how rigid you are on sticking to the points you've allocated.
