When going to a new venue, do you fall back on old favourites or throw caution to the wind and give those new songs (for yourself) a go instead?
I used to fall back on old favourites and if there's someone in the audience I wish to impress, I still will but sometimes, I'll try something different - sometimes regretting it, other times coming away more confident to sing the new song at my more regular haunts.
