| From the Where2sing.com forum: Johnny B: Everywhere I go I always try out new songs although if there are a number of people I'd normally stick to the ones I'm confident I can pull off. Last Saturday at the Rag N Famish, there were only 3 singers & not that many people so I decided to give 'Rich Girl' a go. Not the Selwyn version but the original Hall & Oates version and not many people can sing a Daryl Hall song without popping a vein. It was my worst performance ever. A few Saturdays ago I tried 'Rush' by Big Audio Dynamite with Max & although it was a mediocre attempt at that song, people loved it. Even at my regular haunt at Chatty I always check the back pages first to see if there are anything new. Now, thanks to Magni (Rockstar Supernova) I'm most likely to sing 'Plush' by STP on Friday or maybe tomorrow at the Menzies.
