Catman - O.K. you have had your say and now it is my turn. I would like to know why you addressed this to me and not to 'Legs' when she was the one who raised this in the first place? I gave her my opinion of what she should do. It should have been left at that. However now that the 'can of worms' has once again been opened up, I am going to have my say.

Firstly, Karaoke Kapers DO NOT have 3 people working on any one show, George was at CCC before he went on holidays because he was doing his own shows, along with different panel operators every week namely Mick, Joe and Reanna. The times that Mick and Joe or Joe and Reanna or Mick and Reanna work there and George is there is because George has chosen not to work that night. He gets to sing just like anyone else. Mick didn't work last night, yet he still got to sing his 3 songs because it was his night off and he is treated just like anyone else who comes in to sing. Was Mick not supposed to sing because he works for Karaoke Kapers and it was his night off? Any employee of Karaoke Kapers who comes into any of their venues on that person's night off is treated just like anyone else and is entitled to sing. George owns Karaoke Kapers and he is entitled to do with it as he pleases, and if that means he gets up and sings a song, then that is his prerogative.

As for Karaoke Kapers venues falling off in the past year or so. Do you know of any other karaoke company that is currently running 6 shows a week at different venues? I don't. Yes, CCC does have it share of problems, hopefully they will be worked out in the near future and also hopefully the upcoming talent contest will bring in more clientele into the club. The numbers at the Band Club have not fallen off, you come in there at approximately 9.30 just about every Sunday night, naturally some of the singers have gone home by then, people sometime have to get up early and like their sleep. As for the books being closed, then it is the decision of the compare on the night at any of the venues to close the books when they are of the opinion that there are more than enough singers and that each singer will get at least two songs in. It is a little unfair of you to 'generalise' about all of Karaoke Kapers venues, you have been to Windsor once, back to CCC on two occasions and not to the Saturday show, to my knowledge you haven't been to Hippos or Vic on the Park and your visits to The Band Club as I said are for the last half hour of the show. Why do you come in at that time of night? Is it to see how many people come to this show? You have made comments before on this website about going into the Band Club and not seeing a lot of people there. Mick has told me that neither you or Ray have approached him to sing. It is not every week that the books are closed early, this only happens when there are more singers than expected. If you want to sing a song there, and the sign is not showing saying that 'the books are now closed', then I don't understand why you don't approach Mick about singing. You have your favourite shows that you go to and that is your prerogrative. If you don't like any of the Karaoke Kapers shows, then the answer is simple, don't go to them. As you say, there are other shows around, you do go to these other shows, why not just leave it at that.

The matter raised by 'Legs' has been directed to the person taking care of the business while George is on holidays.

I hope that this now brings an end to this matter, I have no wish to be involved in arguments about karaoke with anyone. I am fed up with the mud slinging that goes on sometimes on this webiste.

Catman I have no wish to be involved in an argument with you, but when it comes to Mick working for Karaoke Kapers, then it is something that you and I will never agree on so it is best left alone. I have seen a major change in Mick's confidence levels the 3 years that he has been with Karaoke Kapers, and that change is for the better.
