| From the Where2sing.com forum: The question I ask on that subject is has the venue conveyed their unhappiness with the current operator to them and if so has the operator sat with venue management and discussed how things can be improved to get the results the venue is seeking....or is the venue just putting up with it silently until someone else comes along with a more attractive offer if so how long would you last until they tired with your type of show and replace you???
There needs to be more open communication between venue management & operators to help build a better industry...after our own recent episode at Karma Karaoke, we have sat down with our venues and asked them to come talk to us first if they are not happy, let's figure out what things both of us can do to improve patronage and then if that fails..maybe it's a question of ..is karaoke right for this venue / area...as without sounding bigheaded or anything, but i believe our show is on par with most shows within southeast Qld as far as format, entertainment value, and sound quality goes...
