| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi David & thanks for the opportunity to list. I appear to be having trouble listing a gig. That being the Hoppers crossing venue you put up for me. When I enter the information, it won't move ahead, stating that the date needs to be set AHEAD of todays date. The date I'm entering is Friday Oct 21st. Any ideas? I have another to list as well. We seem to have a few on the go at the moment. Andrew Ward is hosting the Hampton Park Tav for me. The Pakenham one of course, Hoppers & one in Corowa @ the RSL. Oh yes. While I think of it. The Hoppers gig is a once a month starter but not on the same week every month. Should I list this as a one off, or is there an alternative method?

That's very strange, as the programme generates only dates for you to select that are today or ahead of today, and uses the same piece of script to check that the day you have selected is either today, or ahead of today (just in case the date is a previous one, and old). Also, the dates are those on the server, not your or my computer, so again there should be no room for difference. Anyway, I logged in as you and added the gig, so you'll see it in your 'Own Gigs' list - and can update the info as you like. If you do have any difficulties, please always do as you have, and let me know what you're trying to do so I can duplicate that and see what messages I get (great to knock out programme faults early).
As regards the Frequency of the gig, I can add different frequencies to the list as long as there is some retionale to it, but irregular dates need to be entered as each one passes. I have on my 'to do' list to create a way to enter a number of forward dates so they can be automatically updated, but since these irrregular dates are normally a few weeks apart and hosts really need to Re-Confirm their gigs every 20 days to keep control of them, I figure that it is only a couple more clicks to update the date each time.
