| From the Where2sing.com forum: In the time I have been involved with Karaoke one thing that come to mind.If a venue wishes to change a host it is normally because the host is not helping to put bums on seats.
I Have just started a new day job and up untill now have had no thoughts about the person I am replacing.
Really the karaoke operators and venue management some time forget what it is the customer wants.
This topic is not about undercutting or making a move on another host but more about promoting a business to all of the venues regardless of weather they are being serviced or not by a karaoke company.
Mc donalds does not stop sending out promo stuff to all the KFC lovers .
Westpac still send flyers to national customers.
I dont feel it is right to walk iin the door of a venue and try to steal business if the venue is being well serviced by someone.
If you know the operator there It is down right rude.
I do feel it is ok to send flyers to all venues without having to check who is there or not.
It would be again my veiw to not send flyers to venues that you know some one is at just out of respect to that person.
I own a ford yet still get holdens flyers and I dont see that as being wrong.
If you are in business then sure PLAY NICE with your industry but always Promote your business first.
