Just for the record, I didn't decide on the points system, they were given to me to use. Would you prefer that it be kept a secret so that no one has any idea why the person/s who go through the various heats actually got there? Karaoke is never just about singing. Never has been and never will be. I personally believe that an ok singer who puts on a good show and entertains the audience should always win over a great singer who just stands there with their eyes fixed to the monitor.
