| From the Where2sing.com forum: David, maybe because Iam as inarticulate as you think, I feel you have been missing my point all along. Some operators do see hosting as a cold-hearted, mean spirited financial (and notoriety) war. I even recieved direct threats to stay out of the industry before I ever entered into it, or my daughter's face would be disfigured. Its very easy for you to sit there overseas and draw conclusions about things, relying purely on what you've been told. But alot has gone on behind the scenes that you know nothing about. There are some very unsavoury elements in this industry, wether you want to believe it or not. Trouble is, that even though most operators in Brisbane know who and what these elements are, they are prepared to just sit back and let it happen rather leave their comfort zones, stand up and try to stop it. As long as its not happening to them they dont give a fat rats one, and that is what I find so frustrating.
