| From the Where2sing.com forum: Does it really matter? Is it really that hard to find another gig?
Rob Deal 'loses' gigs all the time because the karaoke doesn't work in the venue choosen, sometimes because of lack of walk-past traffic or sometimes because of noise complaints, but he goes out and finds another one pretty quickly. His secret? He thinks out of the box and manages to snare venues that no-one has thought of before through 'gift of the gab' ( and I mean this as a compliment ;) and offering a unique value proposition that no-one else can offer. I'm not going to outline it here but I'll just say its not the fact he is running off computer, its more complex and clever than that.
But, I don't hear him bitch'in and moaning for weeks about the one that didn't work to every man and his dog. Instead he is druming up euthusiasm for the new gig. I think its something to consider ;)
