Regardless of whether or not this particular person was the decision maker, it was certainly his job to communicate with us and keep us informed as to what was expected of us. He was the one Go Karaoke had been dealing with all along so I dont think it was remiss of us to expect to do the same.
If what you claim is true, and he had been considering the other operator for a couple of months, and given the fact that this operator was free Saturday nights at the time - why did he not just install them at the venue immediately rather than using us as a fill in for two weeks? I feel that rather what happened was that while I conceed that the replacement operator had been in contact with the venue before, when she heard that her then favourite enemy, (us) were at the venue, she then bombarded him with her propaganda machine and managed to convince him to unceremoniously dump us and go with her company. I also suspect that she asked him to keep it quiet until her installment had been confirmed, as she knew very well that if we got wind of it would have been able to change his mind.
