| From the Where2sing.com forum: David and others whilst you all might sit there with smug little smiles and be proud business people to me you are all hypocrites without the open mindedness to accept that other peoples points of view whislt different are not wrong or a sign of incometance.
If it is wrong to stand up for yourself and be proud of who you are then Australia in general is in a bad state of affairs, but luckily this industry is but a pebble in the entertainment industry and there are plenty of people out there who will stand up for truth and democracy, something they lack in China.
The only thing that has really got under our skin is people who don't know us, have never met us can sit there and call kay names and try and beat us into submission to their way of thinking.
Well it won't work, how we measure success and how some of you measure success is different and that difference is the spice of life.
Kev thanks for your kind regards, yes there are alot of nice people in this industry just not too many on this website me thinks...We will enjoy our karaoke shows as do our patrons and we will continue to build our successful business with our principals intact as kay and I are focused people on our goals and we are reaching those goals so we can't be doing all that bad. As i learnt on my way to being an australian martial arts champion stay comitted, stay focused and stay true to your belives and you will succeed.
I am glad Kay is the person she is because it is refreshing to know someone who is honest and upfront with you and not sneaking around corners hiding, waiting for that opportunity to knife you in the back!!
So to all you know it alls out there, whilst your intentions may have been good your methods in my eyes have lacked compassion and understanding of emotions and people. May Karma go with you on your lifes journey and may the almighty dollar which you worship bring you good health.
