I must say that I agree with Tania on what she has said about the current talent contest at CCC. Tania has a fabulous voice and she did very well in the heat of the talent contest on Saturday night, I cheered for her and I cheered just as loudly for 'Puss' (Cathy) the way she performed her songs was admirable and for someone who was singing in her first talent contest, then she deserves all the praise that Tania and I are heaping on her. I don't know who the person was that told her that she would never be a singer, but whoever it is the he or she is very mistaken. The 'puss in boots' of last year is not the same 'puss in boots' that we know now. I know I am using their real names here, but all of us know who they are and I am sure that neither of them will mind. They will tell me if they do.
I will also agree with 'A Cowboy's Sweetheart' in what she says about singing. When I look back at the times that I used to sit in the audience and watch Mick sing all the time and would not get up and have a go, it was one person who told me that I should have a go and that he thought I could do just as well as anyone else getting up at a karaoke show and singing and that person was Fozzie Bear. It often takes someone whose opinion you value and respect to get you to do something and with me it was Fozzie Bear telling me that he thought I sang just as well sitting at a table and singing along with everyone who was on stage. I remember if he remembers telling me that way back all those years ago!!
