Re: SuperNova. Based on last night’s performances, Toby does not have a chance. To me it is Lukas Rossi, who showed his versatility last night. Big chance he took to do what he did last night. With the others, it’s the same-old same-old.
Re: Oz Idol. I would NOT have any of those you named in my Top 10. The business part of the series is yet to come, with them all tested with different song styles and genres, getting everyone out of their comfort zones. To me, only 2 of them are up to performing everything thrown at them – Lavina and Ricky – but to me, they are not “unique” enough to win Oz Idol (others may think different).
I do agree with the judges about Lisa having the most unique individualistic gift of all. It’s a “wait and see” if she can handle all the other styles and genres of songs, and see whether she can do as well as her personalisation of Diamonds On The Inside and Fall At Your Feet. If she can pull that off, she’s the one for me.
I am a betting man, and I love betting longshots well before the event. I have taken odds of 150-1 on Lisa after the series of audition shows were aired. Hope she does well for me!
