| From the Where2sing.com forum: Isn't that strange? I don't mind in the slightest if a singer just stands there without moving - for me it's all in the song and how they sing it. In fact, I'd go further and say that all too often I see the focus put on the jumping around and 'waving arms' to the detriment of the song, when I'd far prefer to hear an interesting voice sing a song in tune, in time, with sympathetic phrasing and a little unique-ness. One of the best singers I saw (heard) in the last few months was a guy who meandered through the crowd (this was a venue without a stage) with the cordless mic, made no attend to visually embellish his song, and really did (excusing this much over used term) 'blew away' his audience.
