| From the Where2sing.com forum: Sammo........As we forecased many ' karaoke punters ' will have trouble coming to terms with the $250 entry fee and ofcourse if you can get some sponsership to lessen the fee or perhaps NOT lessen the fee but to offer better prizes that would be great , but that still makes No differance to your idea and what may come from your idea as far as a person who has total faith in there own abilities or some-one who is willing and has the ' guts ' to put there money where there mouth is , $250 is a very reasonable cost ( investment may be a better word ) to not only win some great prizes BUT they also win one months ( once a week ) worth of 'gigging ' in your wonderful restaurant at its busiest time of the year , god knows who may patronise your restaurant when the winner is up there doing there act or this would be a great time for the winner to invite people to see and showcase there talents , to me $250 is a very small price to pay for such exploser not to mentsion the learning and development of skills to be had , and just the opertunity for the person who wishers to better themselves needs !!! , but as i said in other posts , sadly many karaoke hopefuls will not see it from this point of view.........best of luck...
