I agree with your point of view on the subject.
Seems that Mic Rophone wants to get CareAoke up and running again, so I have told him that I will contact a few Nursing Homes next week when I (hopefully) have some free time. The problem with the Nursing Homes is that all the residents are in bed after their evening meal which is around 6PM. If any entertainment is provided for them, then it would have to be during the day. Also I know that you have back problems like I do, so carrying the equipment would be a problem for the two of us and we would have to rely on some of the kind men on this site to help us. Therefore knowing that most of the men who are on this site would have a weekday job, it would probably have to be held on a Saturday or Sunday. I am wondering if we could use some kind of backing discs on a portable C.D. player - would that work, but there again the sound would probably be lousy. I am just trying to figure out a way for maybe you and I to do this but I think that it would be difficult without decent equipment.
Leave it with me for a few days, I will talk to some of the entertainment officers at some of the Nursing Homes that I know of and see what I can come up with.
