| From the Where2sing.com forum: To Add more to my last post ......If you are intending to be a host and you wish to maximise your abilities to gain more work and work that generally pays more better ( private and corp functions ) , you really need to be varsitile with your singing abilities ( 2 or 3 songs won't cut it ) ie....bikie club, its best that you are able to belt out some 'blue's and raunchie rock songs '.....party for a more senior person ,some tune's from 40's / 50's & 60's will go down well , a wedding ...some great all time love and ballard songs , you can't go wrong .....18th b/day some 'to-days chart songs ' will have them pumping and so on and so on , horses for courses , this is a guide as you really must be perpared to sing songs for ANY Bookings that comes your way , sometimes you sing one song all night , other times you may need to sing most of the night , YOU NEVER KNOW , so its best to be ready for what may come your way, and then you will see a high level of return business , OH and you need to also have the ' gift of the gabb ' that helps, lol
