| From the Where2sing.com forum: Indeed Rovics , i've been to a show or 2 where the host is unable to sing or even try to '' kick' the night off with a song or 2 and the advert start time was 9pm , we sat there till approx 10.30 listening to ' house music ' until he had 4 or 5 singers ready to go , we were two of these 4 or 5 singers and decided to go at 10.34 pm so he was left with 2 or 3 singers , i wonder if he would have quickly gone back to ' house music '.........a singing host or hosts add atmosphere to the night and can set many people at ease....
