| From the Where2sing.com forum: James:...I wont say much .only that as I saw it there is/was little comparison between W2S and KG...with W2S being what I consider an essential tool for any professional Karaoke operator nationwide.... and is more akin to a professionally styled ...full featured online business directory ....as opposed to what basically amounted to little more than a local Chat /message facility for those interested in Karaoke in Brisbane.
I feel it is of the utmost importance for ALL operators to support and promote W2S.....let face it.....we have NOWHERE else where we can showcase our services..Frankly I would like to see W2S go even further...ie. Also become an online directory specifically targeting Venues and venue managers..along with Singers and operators......I am certain that a few Venue managers already visit W2S.....but not nearly enough!!.......and it really Irks me to see some of (IMO) the worst operators in Brisbane.......with the worst equipment and sound imaginable......often ....with very ordinary hosting skills to boot......and yet manage to secure.....and lose the greatest number of Venues......usually through booking agents of course.....and cheap prices.....just the same .....they do little to edify Karaoke beyond being anything more than a pastime for the excessively drunk and/or the chronically tone deaf or musically challenged wannabe
