| From the Where2sing.com forum: Point taken David Bear in mind after a year it would be only fair to the person the reweiw was done on if it was left to history and not dug up again.Yes it was a reveiw that reflected a tone that was not a good one foe the host of a gig and yes it is true that some reveiws in here are not always happy ones. It is not fair to that host to point out and single out this reveiw a year later.Dont you think the host in question also deserves after that time to be able to move on .Perhapes the host has inproved the show and now is getting the Bad reveiw sent to other venues a year after.I dont feel the person that emailed this is being fair to myself or the host that got the bad reveiw. Sleeping dogs should lie.
Yes you are right it was not a great reveiw for the host but it was a honest one and it just may have been the one that helped this host change for the better.
sendind a letter to a venue using someone else name as the sender is wrong and it is now a post that has come out of a unreal world and is now sent to someone that is in the real world that does not come to this site.
When I did this reveiw I was a singer at a venue and since then I have been hosting shows myself.
As a singer then I pointed out the things I did not like about a gig and offered some suggestions.....As a person now that has hosted shows I would not do a negative reveiw as It would not be right for a host to bag his compeditors.
At this stage in this year I would not go down that path on this site.
The host that got the reveiw from me back then deserved it on the night but I dont feel the host deserves to have it emailed to other venues a year later to readers that dont come here.
Not everyone knows my name here and I would not send a letter out to venues using someone elses name either.
