| From the Where2sing.com forum: You guys really make me laugh. Ive never been to this site before and you know why?? Karma Kay, the person you people accuse of self promotion, advised me not to quite a while ago. And for the very reasons I can see below. So instead of soliciting folks to come here and blow her horn, she is actually actively steering people away from this site for good reason.
Ive been to alot of karaoke shows over the years and recently, but I keep coming back to Karma because i have developed a relationship with Kay and Dave that I wouldnt give up for the world now. I have found these two the most genuine, honest, and friendly out of all the hosts I know. Its all very well for those of you from NSW and Vic to come on here spouting about what a 'nutbag' Kay is but have you had a good look at yourselves? You all keep droning on and keep the issue alive long after Kay has stopped posting, are you all so stupid that you cant see that you ALL contribute to the debate, not just Kay. In my mind that makes you all worse than her.
Rob Deal - ever heard the words hypocrite and contradiction? Seems to be quite acceptable for you to make all sorts of accusations, and call things as you see them. Why is it then that when Karma Kay does the same thing she is a nutbag? You are obviously a very pretentious, sactimonious sob with an ego far too big to control. People might keep coming back to your shows week after week, but so they do to Karmas gigs. Although you will never give them the credit they deserve there must be a reason for that.
Music Addict - your sledge did not go unnoticed. Have you ever asked the question 'how much does this David pay Rob Deal and the rest of his cronies to fuel his fires?' Also great that whenever Kay pops up so does Rob and Kev. Wonder how they always seem to intuitively know whenever she posts. Why should she bother to put the effort into reading you lot better, none of you have ever taken the time to do it for her. Shes not ever likely to run into any of you at gigs. Those of you who insult her will obviously never go to one of hers, and it goes without saying that she will never go to any of yours. So why waste the effort? Those of you who make decisions according to perceptions on websites are the kinds of people who indulge in internet romances, and are in need of serious help indeed. To judge a person by what happens in a chat forum like this is total insanity, and you all fit into a nice little stereotype on that score.
Regardless of what conclusions all you big mouths have come to about my friend, she has plenty of support whether you like it or not. Luckily the majority of it have better things to do than sit on clicky websites like this. That and that Kay manages to talk most of them out of using it. I only came here this once to stand up for her, I cant believe you guys, especially you Rob Deal, who can do such damage to a reputation when you yourself are more than guilty of the very things you accuse her of.
