Hi Microphone, funny you should mention the volume differences for different singers,someone told me the same thing tonight, as they had noticed that the better singers got better sound.I think thats a bit unfair,especially as I know a couple of the singers havent been doing the contest thing for very long, and to have to raise your voice so much just to be heard is very off putting.Joe is a very competent (soundman) for want of a better word.So whats the go???WHY the difference?
If the audience could notice it then certainly the singers could, and it would have to effect them in the way they performed so therefore it would also effect the judges choice.
