Klitude: I hate to say it, but I think Mic o phone is right. The room is a large one, comparable to Chatswood RSL and it was chokers. If I were to guess, I'd say the sound was being absorbed by the shear number of people and seemed best in the middle. The further away, the more it faded away.

I guess it depends on what they were aiming for in terms of sound. Personally, I'd recommend George pay a visit to Chatswood RSL and the Vic on a Monday night to get some ideas. I'd LOVE Friday nights at the Vic to be run through the house sound system as I've sung on it and its gorgeous.
