I for one was and still are thankful for your support before the heats, on the night of the semi, both before the competiton started and after it finished. Your concern and thoughtfulness was appreciated, as for someone who was not experienced in performing in a competition, it did make me feel, apart from the support of friends and family, that someone outside my normal karaoke family, would indeed know what I might be feeling in the nerves department. Again, I thank you.
As in regards to my comment, I will discuss this with you in person.
I think that the performance stakes, there are a lot of people who are nervous, and so they should be, as the bar has been raised a little above last year, with the quality of contestants that have now got through to the Grand Final and those to compete in the last Semi Final have something extra to aim for.
The one thing that I have learnt from this experience {being my first competition} that being jazzy or someone with a awesome voice, does not make a performer!
To those who have made the Grand Final - I wish you the very best of luck and for those appearing in the last Semi - good luck to you as well.
