I live in the western suburbs and patronise such places at St. Marys Band Club on a Sunday night, Windsor RSL on a Friday night and Cumberland Community Club Tuesday and Saturday nights, and no guys, I am NOT advertising the gigs, I am just telling 'Miss Mistletoe' the places that I go to. As I said in my earlier post, there are karaoke gigs all over the place, usually a person has a choice to places to go to and for the most part, the people are nice and friendly and the karaoke shows (run by a lot of different companies) are very, very good. Just let any of us know via this website if you are going to visit any particular gig and I am sure that someone who is a regular on here will let you know if her or she is going there and make themselves known to you, after all, we all have one thing in common and that is a love of music and of singing to the best of our ability, and trying to have fun while we do it!!!
I hope you continue to enjoy the website, it can be a fun experience although sometimes it can turn a bit bitchy, and believe me, it is not only the women who bitch on!!! Some of the guys on here have a real go at each other, but that is all part of the forum and part of what takes the boredom of of a place like this, interesting and lively debate never really hurt anyone. I suppose the important thing is not to take it personally - David doesn't allow personal attacks on here anyway. Have you seen the front page? That is where you can make a contribution to one of the sites on there like 'Karaoke's #1 feature', 'Karaoke's like that' 'Boiling Point' and 'How I lost my (karaoke) virginity'. All are interesting sites and you can go on there and make comments on what you like and don't like about karaoke.
If you decide to come to any of the gigs that I have mentioned, then please make it known to me before hand, let me know roughly what you look like and I will look out for you and make myself known to you. As I said earlier, enjoy your time on here.
