Boiling PointI see lots of people asking to Judge and not asking for payment. I believe this is wrong. Most people should at least ask for expenses. I am a judge in other areas, (non karaoke) and most judges I know would not think of saying 'I'll do it for nothing'. This is much the same with Judges in shows, be it agricultural, literary, etc . I believe Judges should have enough confidence in their ability to request payment. I believe this lowers the style if someone is going to come along and say, oh I don't want payment. Good Judges are not out there wanting to give their talent and ability away for nil.
