At karaoke I once sawBack in the beginnings of karaoke I saw 'Johnny Raper' and 'William Shakespeare' at Gladesville Hotel. No William Shakespeare was on karaoke but that didn't stop Johnny Mcing some of the night, introducing 'Bill' up onto the stage (a table) whilst Johnny inserted a backing tape of 'My little Angel'. It was like coming upon a car accident, you don't want to gawk but can't seem to avert your eyes from the horror! The song was just as much a shocker then as it was in the 70's but we all politely clapped only to then have Johnny do a version of his famous (why I will never know) 'Mack the Knife'. Ooooh!
