Losing my virginity
After a few years of watching my husband sing, I finally got up the nerve to sing myself. It was at the Auburn Hotel about 3 1/2 years ago. I think my problem was actual 'stage' fright, that is getting up 'on stage' but at this hotel there was no stage, so it was easier. I didn't sing alone, it is easier to lose one's 'virginity' singing with someone else, I sand 'Beautiful Sunday' with my husband and then I sang 'Men' with a friend, Joan. My heart was pounding all through it, but I got a rousing applause for my efforts!! Now, well the 'stage' fright is gone and I have fun singing.
