Losing my virginity
The first time I sang Karaoke was at the pub now known as the Eastern in Bondi Junction (the old name had something to do with a pig). There were about 3 people in the bar at the time and I was nervous as all hell. Up on the small stage was a huge pot plant and a pylon holding the roof up that both dominated the stage and provided plenty to hide behind. The lighting was also very bad, further providing me cover for my tenuous debut. I peeped out a song I vaguely knew and there experienced the beginnings of a journey into 'The Land of Karaoke'.
