Losing my virginityYears ago I tried karaoke with an acquaintance and her daughter. Not used to singing with a mike I sang with a nervously closed throat - the mike highlighting every nervous wobble - not good. The friend had a fantastic voice and was an old hand and her daughter about 10 or 11 got up - also very relaxed and excellent so I felt pretty ordinary in comparison.
